Question

Do Professional Car Washes really save water, and how much water does a Professional Car Wash use?

The answer is YES, ExpressWash has a very sophisticated water reclamation system that enable the car wash to re-use water many times over. This allows the car wash to only use fresh water when absolutely necessary (such as a final rinse) to ensure a clean, dry car. In other words, while many gallons of water are being used during the course of an average car wash, only 9 to 15 gallons of fresh water is introduced during any given wash cycle. ExpressWash takes our environment and water reclamation very seriously as it is one of our most precious resources.  Being Eco-Friendly is our focus here at ExpressWash.

Rain Water Recapture

Here at ExpressWash as part of our efforts to conserve water, we use Rain Water Recapturing.  Which means when it rains here at our Port Coquitlam location we recapture the rain water which goes into our 50,000 gallon underwater storage tanks, then filter it, so we can re use it in our wash process.  We re use what mother nature gives us here at ExpressWash.
